From Interstate I-95 take Exit 118 (Thornburg County Road 606 West). Turn left onto VA 208W - Courthouse Road. Turn left onto US 522/VA 208W -Zachary Taylor Hwy. Turn right on E 1st street (for only 500 fee)t. Turn right onto VA 208W/VA22W Piedmont Avenue). After 5.4 miles, the entrance to the golf course is on the left between Joe's Place and McDonald's.

From Interstate I-64 take Exit 143 (Louisa-Ferncliff) Route 208 North to Louisa. In Louisa turn right at the stoplight (Elm Ave. & E. Main St.); go 4/10 mile. The entrance to the golf course is on the right between Joe's Place and McDonald's.

From Gordonsville take US 33 East into Louisa. This is Main Street. Remain on Main Street until you pass Joe's Place but before Mc Donalds on the right. Entrance to Tanyard is immediately after Joe's Place.

From Montpelier and points east take Rt 33 West to Louisa. At the light in Louisa, turn left. This goes into US 33/Main Street. Tanyard is on the left hand side immediately after the shopping center with Mc Donalds and before Joe's Place.

From Lake Anna take RT-208/522 to Mineral. In Mineral turn right at the light onto RT-208 and proceed 5 miles to Louisa. In Louisa this becomes Main Street. Tanyard is on the left hand side immediately after the shopping center with Mc Donalds and before Joe's Place.
